Will air tonight on our local PBS channel. WSIU-TV at 9 P.M. Its about the Lively Family massacre which occurred near the present day town of Lively Grove in 1813. It will also air on Sunday April 12 at 12:30 p.m. , April 15 at 11:30 p.m. , and April 17 at 5 p.m. If your into local history this will be one you won't want to miss!!!

Fun - I can't get channel 8 to come in at all anymore.. what the heck has it already gone digital? it's been like that almos a month.. and I really want to watch that!!!

I'm diggin out the rabbit ears as we speak ... I can't get 8 on the regular channels and the paper said it won't be on Ch 9..:(

Just checked.. and yes, they have already gone to the DTV format.. so unless you have DTV ready TV or your converter box.. we are up a creek..
however.. it also looks like on their web page that they put the shows up after they air..
I guess I'm going to have to finally break down and buy a darned converter box..

They only carry the STL PBS. Not the SIU PBS..

I think I quit watching when they quit playing the Abott and Costello specials that were hosted by Virginia Marmaduke...aka the 'Duchess'

I don't watch that channel very often anymore either...

I'm just guessing - but Harrisonville doesn't offer WSIU for PBS but rather KETC out of STL.. or at least that's the way it used to be with them.

Ahhhh... The Duchess.. now Madame Marmaduke was a grand lady in every sense of the word! I used to kind of want to be her when I grew up :)

Thanks to the ones who posted the infocus link on their website. I was able to watch it this morning. Very interesting. Our family was settling the French Lick/Paoli area in Indiana, and the similarities of what the families had to deal with made this even more interesting.
