Used Grizz Tricks
I had a pretty boy & pretty girl along with another hen decoy out this morning (4/7).
It took 4 jakes 30 minutes to work up the nerve to get any closer then 5 yards.
They finally did, then there were 3.
My first turkey kill, first time really even hunting turkeys.
Not the best picture but i had to use the camera timer to take it myself.

I am going out solo with my bow on Sat, opener of 2nd season. I hope I can just get close enough to take a shot. I have been practicing on dixie cups to get my groups as tight as possible.
Congrats once again that has to be an awesome feeling. I know it is at the 3D range, could only imagine it in real life.

Well done bud !!!
You got one up on me now, I have never killed a turkey with a bow.
I know you have been taking lots of good game tracker pic, of all those turkeys, for a few years now. Glad to see you finally decided to go hunt'em with your bow. :)
So do you have another permit ?????
Just be careful, turkey hunting is also very addicting, BUT I bet it is too late to tell you that now.
Congrats again, that is a great accomplishment !!
