How a bobcat reacts to the lens of a S600 extending.

Sorry for the late bump, but yea, looks like it to me. Can you take a shot with something for scale in the same spot - next to that rock?

Where bouts was that taken..roughly ;)

99.9% of the bobcat pictures that have been posted by me on this forum are from this very spot (Johnson Co.) making it easy to prove that picture isn't of a mountain lion.
Wish it was though. :D

The cat in the fog looks significantly larger than the bobcat just below it. Compare the widths of noses, and distances between the eyes, and distances from outside corners of their eyes to the tips of the noses. Maybe just a trick of the fog.

I apologize if I sound uppity here. Would you mind if I try to do a little more analysis on them and post later?

yeah, bobcat. Easier to tell on my 22" inch monitor vs the laptop I was using earlier. Most telling part is the "sideburns" that show up in one or two of the pics - especially the profile where it's sniffing the rock. Cool shots, though! Did you drop some scent on that rock, cause they all seem interested in that spot? Good way to bring em in.

Now I wanna go get a trailcam heh.

Thanks for those images.
