Just got back from our first camp out of the year and our first camp trip with the new camper. Weather was great. One night I kicked on the furnance to take the chill off. Had to wear a jacket most weekend but was dry.
The park is nice. Lots of trees in the camp area. I bet it is well shaded in the summer. All the sites are flat and full of the MO gravel. Plenty of trailes for walking. The old iron works area has some cool stuff to look at. The area were the springs originates is pretty. The hatchery and trout rearing pools are full of fish.
The camping was well worth the trip. Im glad it was primarly a camp trip and not a fishing trip. I was not happy at all with the fishing area.
But that is a story for the "Gereral fishing" forum.
