OK, the vote is in... Bass it is. Due to me gonna have to be at work on the 15th, it'll be on the 28th of July.

Now for the where? I'll add some lakes in the poll below, if you have another suggestion post it, and I'll add it. I'll be camping and so may some others, so keep that in mind when suggesting a location.

Okay - since I am a crappy bass fisherperson...I'll take pictures! I've never been so good at bass fishing and ya'll seem very serious about it! I'm a little more catfish oriented...

Wow ! nice to see Kinkaid in the lead...it's close! And who knows how much gas will be by then! I like the campsites at Johnson Creek....there's a couple great hike / boat in ones...

I've only fished Kincaid once and didn't do so hot then. It's quite a drive for us, but that may not be an issue. Got a friend I haven't seen for a couple years coming in town that weekend, so I may not be able to get there anyway. Guess I'll have to shoot for the next one.:(

Need to know what boat launch also, if we go up by the johnson creek ramp most all of that is a no wake area for a few miles.

What ramps do most of you use when you have been over there?

I've never been to Kinkaid but am anxious to get there. Not sure what the pattern will be. I'd assume deep water by then. Should be interesting. I'd guess the bite will be tough.
