Is there a boat ramp on the Big Muddy near Carbondale? Anyone ever bowfish this river?

there is a ramp in Murphysboro not Carbondale bow fishing can be good if the river is out of its banks

Where abouts is this ramp in murphy?

It's on south 23rd Street, which dead ends into the parking lot.

On the SE corner of Riverside Park on the SW part of town. From Walnut St. turn south on 20th to Commercial st. then take it to the street where the entrance to the park is and take a left and two blocks and you are in the parking lot of the ramp. Ramp is on the east side.
Only other ramp I know of on the Big Muddy River is down by our clubhouse off of the levee oppposite of Springs Rd and another one at Turkey Bayou east of Oakwood Bottoms. The river is at it's banks in Murphysboro as of yesterday, it's been a while since I was down at the clubhouse but it was not out of the banks then.

Watch out for silt on the ramps on that river it can be like ice 4x4 is a must.
