It's a cooker out there today. I washed my truck on the carport just before noon this morning and it wasnt bad then but an hour later it was cooking!

I HATE the heat. I'd rather it be 20 below...

Finally broke down and turned on the AC today... watch the power bill roll now...

I set some fence post this morning and the ground was so dry I had to hang on the posthole digger to get it to bore.

You're right. We went fishing this morning and the fish were real slow biting. I caught 2 cats and a drum, plus about 4 fish that were too small (including a 2" black bass). My wife got skunked which doesn't happen very often. She has to work this evening, otherwise we'd have tried the evening fishing too. I'm sure it's better than it was during the day.

Went down to Pickneyville and caught 20 blue gill keepers. Going back tomorrow. I luv this heat, I'll finally get to work on my Tan...

Not only do I hate the heat..I cannot function in it..it short circuits what little isn't already shot circuited and next thing you know I'll be layed out flat. I use a cooling vest and hat that were pretty inexpensive and they make a huge difference when you are out in this crap. Just soak em in water and they work as an evaporative cooling device..as they dry, dunk em again...really great on the motorcycle!
