I hit coffeen this morning. Was there last Wed also. Last week the plant was not discharging and temps were in the 40's. Today on the warm end it was 72:cool: Lots of boats and lots of people catching fish. Only managed 2 keeper crappie one 12 and one 11 suspended 4-5 ft deep on brush. Using a red, white, and chart 1/16 tube. Did manage to catch 21 bass thou and my buddy caught 11. Also a few cats in the mix too. They have a bass tourney tommorrow I bet they have a killer day :)

Part of my my posse just got back from Lake Washington, MS. They had the same weather we did and fishing was poor. Water temps dropped down to 44. They had a tough time with it. Total catch was about 70 between 7 guys from 7 days. They were nice 13" + put poor numbers. We are going to hit Kinkaid or Horsehoe South this weeekend and I will report back.

Fished a pit Saturday and ended up with 27 between 2 of us. All 10 inches and better. Had 2 around 15 inches. Most were full of eggs. Black and chartreuse tubes on 1/32 heads. Was very windy so couldn't fish all of the water. Pretty good day though.

After the rain last night things are gonna be a little dirty. Went to the Shoe yesterday for a couple of hours and no crappie. Real windy. We caught 1 white bass about 16 inches.

I went out to Forbes this evening. Water was a lil muddy, not bad though...

I droped a black and chartreuse jig a foot deep. Ran it over structure and cought a couple really nice ones from the shore.

Didn't have time to hit it hard, if it would have been earlier and I had more time it could have been rewarding...
